Superman Slim CMM.20

11.24.55.SN.M339mmautomatic$2,490 list priceAnnounced February 2024

A slimmer version of Yema's 39mm Superman dive watch built around its CMM.20 micro-rotor movement, developed with watchmaker Olivier Mory and assembled in Morteau. It keeps the Superman's bezel-locking crown guard, adds a sapphire bezel insert and a lacquered dial, and is rated to 300m.

Positive

5 reviews: 5 positive, 0 mixed, 0 negative. 4 of 5 recommend it.

Most reviewers find the case remarkably thin for a 300m diver and single out the in-house micro-rotor as a standout, and every reviewer is positive on the movement. Most also like the compact wear and the clean, legible dial. However, most say the flared bracelet sits long on smaller wrists, and several find the clasp dated without toolless adjustment.

Where they differ. Most reviewers value the dial's restraint, but a couple find it too plain for what the watch costs. Opinion also splits on the lume, which some call strong and others patchy, and on the bezel lock, which a couple find sturdy while one reviewer thinks it flimsy.
